How to setup the Koshering service

 

  • Make sure all of your apps are installed and updated.
  •  Check to make sure that the latest system updates are installed. (Settings - Software Updates - Check for update) 
  • Go to the Google Play Store and download Gboard (Please note: The Samsung keyboard will be disabled - install Gboard [Google Keyboard] as an alternative replacement) 
  • Go to the the home screen, hold down the Google chrome app and disable it.
  • Go back to the Google Play store, search for Android system Webview and install the update. 
  • Download our App by visiting koshercell.info - By visiting this website, an APK will be automatically downloaded onto your device (enable “allow install from unknown sources” to continue the process)
  • Once you have downloaded the app, please log in with the following Credentials:
    Username: (Case Sensitive) 
    Password:  
  • Please let us know once you logged in so that we can finish up. 
  •  Your phone is Kosher and ready to go :)

 

Is KosherCell customizable ?
  • Yes! If you like to add a certain app please reach to verify if the app you want is allowed on our system. 

 

I purchased the Koshering Service where is my code? 
  • When purchasing the Koshering Service you will receive an email with your credentials. Please note: It may take up to 24 hours to receive the credentials.

 

I would like to add an app
  • To add apps, please purchase an app add-on from our website. Please write your KosherCell or Gentech ID and the name of the app requested, in the memo during checkout.

  •  If we are unable to get the app working, we will remove that app and give you a full refund.

 

 

Is the filter safe and cannot be bypassed
  • The filter connects with Samsung Knox which is the security system of the device to ensure a safe experience with all our products! 

 

Will I need data to have Waze
  • Some have reported that on average their Waze device used more than 500 MB per month.
  • Tello.com has a plan for $6 per month for 1 gb of data with no talk or text. You must select the Sprint/GSM version.
  • If you would like, RedPocket has a 500mb per month plan for only $60 for 360 days of service and can be purchase here. The Verizon version or the Sprint version will be compatible.
  • This device only has has WAZE. There are no other apps at all - not even a dialer!
  • To order a Waze device for a different carrier please choose the option you need.

 

Where can I locate my ID/Username? 
  • In the Gentech safe app you can view your ID. 

 

My email is not working
  • Please check if your battery is set to optimized by going to the settings of the phone and select battery 

 

Can I get apps for my business? 
  • Sure! It can be added like any other app. (Put link for I would like to add an app article) 

 

Is everything done remotely or do I have to come in person?

  • The koshering service is done remotely! There is no need to bring the device in.  
Can I remove the filter by myself? 
  • The filter can only be uninstalled with the assistance of a technician.

 

Which platforms are compatible with the filter? 
  • At this time, we offer a range of Samsung Galaxy devices and iPhones. However, the koshering service can only be done on the Galaxy. 

 

 

Basic apps

A basic explanation how to add an account.
  • Open your phone's Settings app.
  • Tap Accounts. If you don't see "Accounts," tap Users & accounts.
  • At the bottom, tap Add account.
  • Tap the type of account you want to add.

Please note: settings may vary by version of your device

 

How to delete the apps you don't need
  • Find the app you wish to uninstall.
  • Long-press (tap and hold your finger) on the app, and wait for a pop-up menu to appear.
  • Tap Uninstall.

 

How to use all the different features in that notification panel 

The following shortcuts are available in the Quick Panel:

  • Wi-Fi: Turn your device's Wi-Fi transmitter on or off.
  • Location: Turn your device's GPS function on or off.
  • Sound: Switch between sound on, vibrate only, and mute.
  • Screen rotation: Turn automatic screen rotation on or off.
  • Bluetooth: Turn your device's Bluetooth transmitter on or off.
  • Mobile data: Turn mobile data on or off.
  • Sync: Turn all account sync functions on or off.
  • Airplane mode: Turn Airplane mode on or off. When Airplane mode is on all radio transmitters are turned off.
